~ Join us for a unique experience ~

A long awaited program has finally made its way to Clifton Park that will have long term positive effects on your young child. We invest in our children in countless ways because we love them and naturally want the best for them. If a pediatric dentist told you your child needed braces, most of us wouldn’t hesitate to procure them. In much the same way that straightening teeth will lead to heightened self esteem, enlightened awareness of social etiquette will also raise your child’s self esteem. And just as the orthodontist knows there is a critical period wherein a child’s jawbone is malleable, the psychologist knows there exists a critical period in your child’s formative years to mold their personality. As you well know, their social acumen is paramount to their future success. So invest in those braces, if needed, but just as importantly allow your child this golden opportunity to learn manners that truly matter through the Mother Goose School of Etiquette.

In addition, children who practice good manners are:

  • Confident
  • Respected
  • Comfortable
  • Extremely Likable

Your child’s reputation begins with his/her first impression and builds from that moment on.

Once such lessons have been integrated into your child’s personality, family life, interpersonal relationships and all social interactions improve.

Four, five and six year old children are mature enough to be concerned about those around them. Young children know the difference between right and wrong and are most receptive to adopting good manners. It makes sense to them.

Small classes will be offered at Tiny Tots Tea Room to ensure individual attention. The facility offers an open, clean, child friendly, warm and nurturing environment quite suitable for the subject matter.

Program highlights include:

  • What is etiquette?
  • Why do we need thank you notes?
  • How to be a proper guest
  • Kindness
  • What are table manners?
  • Celebrations
  • Telephone manners for today
  • Respect
  • Seven fun filled educational classes
  • Our eighth session will culminate in a graduation ceremony

In addition, the children will celebrate their accomplishment with a celebratory Formal Tea Party with Mother Goose where they will be able to showcase their “best manners”.

Enroll today for we anticipate classes to fill quickly.

I am passionate about this valuable program and look forward to working with your children.

~ Parent Testimonials ~

August 25, 2009 at 12:49 pmI have personally experienced this class with my then 3 year old daughter. She was the first class and the youngest in her class. The lessons she learned in this class are still present with her and she still remembers where she learned these little lessons. Mother Goose is a valuable asset to preschool development. I am a teacher at a local daycare and wish more families would take advantage of programs like hers. ~ Bridget Bauer

May 1, 2008Thank you so much for this class. You have helped reinforce our manners and values. Julia loved coming every week to her Princess Class! :) She retained your teaching and even corrected mother, father and brother at dinner. If you develop one for older children, Julia will definitely be back!

May 1, 2009Dear Mother Goose, Thank you so very much for offering the class. My daughter Rebekkah so enjoyed coming and learned so much. She now can remind us, politely, to correct our table manners.
